TSSAA Hall Of Fame Induction Set For July 17

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony that was planned for Saturday, April 17, has been postponed one final time.
The Class of 2020 will now be inducted on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The induction ceremony is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. CST.
While TSSAA is hopeful that it can host the usual number of attendees, it may be necessary to hold the ceremony with a much more limited audience. The number of tickets available will be determined at a later date.
Bobby O Jay for his upcoming induction into the
Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame, an honor given to a special group of people who have led their stations and their communities, leaving a legacy of impact behind. O’Jay will officially be inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame on July 31st at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Bobby is the fourth personality to be inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame, joining legendary broadcasters such as Rufus Thomas, Nat D. Williams and Bev Johnson.

(Beachwood) - Beachwood Police are still looking for suspects in the fatal shooting of a man in the parking lot of the Embassy Suites Hotel on Park East Drive, near the Harvard Road exit of I-271.
Just before noon Tuesday, police got 911 calls about the shooting. One caller said she saw the shooting from her office window, and saw two men in hoodies run off. Those men were not found by police.
Beachwood Police asked the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation to come in and help look for clues.

Beachwood Police and Ohio s Bureau of Criminal Investigations are investigating a homicide where a man was found dead at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Tuesday April 20, 2021.

Beachwood, Ohio Beachwood police made no arrests in a shooting that left a man dead in the parking lot of a Beachwood hotel.
Tyrone Majette, 24 was found dead in the parking lot of the hotel when police and paramedics arrived, Beachwood police Officer Jamey Apell said. The shooting is considered a homicide, but police have not made public any of the circumstances surrounding Majette’s death.
