Foreign Minister Turkovic condemns the Act of Vandalism in Sarajevo February 1, 2021 12:00 PM by Y.Z Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic condemned the act of vandalism that took place last night in the center of Sarajevo. “I condemn the destruction of the European Union flag on the building of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Sarajevo. This act of vandalism committed by individuals is unacceptable to us, it does not represent the position of the majority of the citizens of our country and there is no place for it in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Turkovic said, adding that our firm and strategic commitment is membership in the European Union, but also the improvement of building good neighborly relations with the Republic of Croatia on the basis of respect and understanding.
