TEXARKANA, Ark. A rescheduled Scooby-Doo Mystery Dinner is back on for the P.J. Ahern Home on Saturday, July 31.
It runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the mysterious shenanigans centered on the Texarkana Historical Society trying to open Texarkana s first museum. However, someone is attempting to sabotage those plans.
This Mischief at the Museum mystery party was rescheduled for this day. Attendees will try to solve the mystery at this gathering meant for adults.

The 15th Annual Red River Heritage Symposium is 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Historic Washington State Park. Registration is due by Thursday, July 22. There are teacher workshops on Friday, July 23, and Saturday, July 24, with 12 credit hours available. Cost is $40 and lunch is included. Attendance to the symposium is $30 with an evening meal included, hours are 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Discount price of $60 for teachers to attend both workshops and symposium. This Saturday at 2 p.m., Dr. Tom Cutrer will provide a discussion titled Welcome to the Life of about Charles Beatty Moore, one of the Moore children who grew up at the Ace of Clubs House, where the lecture will happen.

TEXARKANA The Texarkana Museums System hosts two tours this weekend that celebrate patriotic themes related to Independence Day.
The TMS hosts its Monuments and Memorials Tour at 11 a.m. Saturday with living history performers leading tour-goers to various downtown destinations. Performers will represent different branches of the military. The tour starts at the Museum of Regional History.
