The DRA exists to improve economic opportunities in 252 counties and parishes of the eight-state Delta region.
The Delta Regional Authority is an organization that was established by Congress in 2000 to improve economic opportunities in 252 counties and parishes of the eight-state Delta region. The DRA makes investments to benefit Delta communities through several programs, including the States’ Economic Development Assistance Program. Brian Henson, Chief of Staff for the DRA, said the application cycle to apply for SEDAP funds began on March 1 and will end on June 6. He encourages anyone interested in the program to reach out to their local development district.
