Burlington man arrested for suspected heroin and marijuana
A Burlington man was arrested after authorities found multiple drugs on a search warrant.
Milton Cleon Davis, 47, was arrested Friday when members of the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and Burlington Police Department s Problem Oriented Policing Unit (POP) found drugs at a home in the 900 block of North Eighth Street, according to a media release issued by Burlington Police Lt. Wayne Thomson, Criminal Investigations Division.
The warrant was executed in reference to a subject who was trafficking large quantities of narcotics in the Burlington area.
Davis is charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, two counts of delivery of heroin, two counts of a drug tax stamp violation, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Burlington, Ia- Authorities have announced the arrest of a Burlington man on drug possession charges following the execution of a search warrant.
On Wednesday, January 20th, the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force, Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement, Burlington Police Department, Des Moines, and Henry County Sheriff’s Offices, and the Iowa State Patrol tactical Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100 blk. of Hayes Court. The search warrant was executed in reference to an ongoing narcotics investigation.
37-year-old Damario Johnson of Burlington (Above) was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Drug tax Stamp Violation and Child Endangerment.
Two Burlington men arrested on narcotics charges

Two Burlington men were arrested Wednesday on narcotics charges as the result of joint investigations by local and state law enforcement agencies.
Corey Dean Lowery, 42, was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class B felony; possession with intent to deliver cocaine base, a class C felony; and a drug tax stamp violation, a class D felony.
Lowery s arrest came after the Burlington Police Department, Des Moines County Sheriff s office, Henry County Sheriff s office, Des Moines County Tactical Response Unit, the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement conducted a search of a home in the 1800 block of South 13th Street.

Burlington man sentenced for methamphetamine

A Burlington man was sentenced to 12 years in prison on methamphetamine charges.
United States District Court Chief Judge John A. Jarvey on Dec. 23 sentenced Anthony David Collins, 30, to 144 months in prison for distribution of methamphetamine, United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum announced in a recent media release.
Collins was ordered to also serve five years of supervised release and pay $300 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.
Police started an investigation 2017 when law enforcement identified Collins as a distributor of methamphetamine in the Burlington area. Law enforcement bought ice methamphetamine from Collins on seven separate occasions between 2017 and 2019, the release says.
