The man accused of killing 27-year-old Gold Coast mother-of-three Kelly Wilkinson has been remanded in custody, with the case against him adjourned to June.
Police charged Brian Earl Johnston, 34, with murder, contravention of a domestic violence order and breach of bail conditions on Tuesday night, after a homicide investigation was launched following the discovery of Ms Wilkinsonâs body at an Arundel home.

Her burnt body was found about 6.40am in the backyard of a Spikes Court home following a neighbourâs report of a disturbance.

NEIGHBOURS rushed to Kelly Wilkinson s home after seeing flames shooting up over the fence. When they got there they allegedly saw blood on the rear patio and the young mother up against the fence motionless and well alight about 6.40am on Tuesday.
