Medical Matters Weekly Previews June 2 Show with Neurologist

  The show will air at 12 p.m. Dr. Weiskopf will reflect on her career serving patients with migraines, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson s disease, and other conditions of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.   The show is produced with cooperation from Catamount Access Television (CAT-TV). She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and served as chief resident 2005 – 2006 before going on to a fellowship at New York University Medical Center 2006 – 2007. Dr. Wieskopf had been an attending neurologist at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts 2008 – 2019. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Virginia, where he also served as chief resident in Internal Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and went on to become an assistant professor of medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Hea

SVHC schedules family-friendly Saturday COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Bennington

Pfizer vaccine available for those 12 – 18 and Johnson & Johnson for those 18 and above Vermont Business Magazine Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) will administer COVID vaccines 8 am – 4 pm on Saturday, May 22 at the gymnasium on the former Southern Vermont College campus at 981 Mansion Drive in Bennington. Members of the general public ages 12 and older are eligible to schedule an appointment using the “make an appointment” link at https://www.healthvermont.gov/covid-19/vaccine/getting-covid-19-vaccine. Registration is open now. “This clinic will make a significant impact in helping get community members vaccinated and contribute to efforts to reopen the state,” said Trey Dobson, MD, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s (SVMC) chief medical officer. “Vaccination allows us to gather safely with one another, interact without masks or the need to distance, and once again enjoy each other’s smiles and companionship.”
