What goes better than ice cream, social activism, and Colin Kaepernick? It drops in early 2021 and gives us something to look forward to. According to sports.yahoo.com, Colin Kaepernick has teamed up with Vermont Ice Cream Company Ben & Jerry’s to launch a new flavor called ‘Change the Whirled.’ And don’t worry, it’s also VEGAN! The flavor will feature something of almost everything including caramel, sunflower butter base, fudge chips, graham cracker swirls, and chocolate cookie swirls. What else could you want in an ice cream flavor? OMG, now I seriously have the taste for some Ice Cream even it s 12 degrees out.
The ice cream, “Change the Whirled,” is vegan, just like Kaepernick and has a caramel sunflower butter base, along with fudge chips, and graham cracker and chocolate cookie swirls.
Colin Kaepernick Teams Up With Ben & Jerry’s For New Social Justice Flavor: ‘Change The Whirled’
Ben & Jerry’s debuted their latest ice cream flavor combination this week and, much to the dismay of millions of patriotic Americans who love this country, it’s name is inspired by none other than former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Of course, Colin Kaepernick’s new Ben & Jerry’s flavor is vegan and social justice friendly!
Colin Kaepernick Teams Up With Ben & Jerry’s
Yahoo News reported that “Colin Kaepernick’s Change the Whirled” is a vegan, nondairy frozen dessert that is set to launch through Ben & Jerry’s in 2021.
Ice cream giant Ben and Jerryâs will debut an ice cream flavor in conjunction with former NFL quarterback and civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick, the company announced.
Kaepernick said on Twitter, âIâve teamed up with @BenAndJerrys to serve up joy on the journey to justice!â
The âChange the Whirledâ flavor â described as: Caramel Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert With Fudge Chips, Graham Cracker Swirls & Chocolate Cookie Swirls â is vegan and will launch in 2021. According to Ben & Jerryâs, Kaepernickâs portion of the proceeds will go to his Know Your Rights Camp.
According to the organizationâs website, the campâs âmission is to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.â
Why should former NFL player Colin Kaepernick hate America? After all, the country gave him a home, an education, and a great sports league to showcase his talents (that is, it was great before it became a platform for social justice activists).
