Morgan Wallenâs âDangerousâ Earns a Third Week at No. 1

The country singer and songwriter Morgan Wallen has the No. 1 album for a third week in a row, the first time in eight years that a country LP has pulled a hat trick at the top of the Billboard album chart.

Nickelback know a fair few things about putting together a half-decent parody, it turns out. Before the Canadian band that everyone pretends to hate scaled to the gravellY heights of âHow You Remind Meâ, they started life as a covers band called Village Idiot.
Accordingly, when the bunch of aspiring seamenâs (no sniggering at the back) sails caught wind of The Lottery Winnersâ shanty-flavoured version of âRockstarâ, the band sportingly clambered aboard for a collab. Mainly, this one stands out for its surprisingly high production valueS â weâre talking split screens, stock images of ships, at least two anoraks, a pipe, and a captainâs hat seemingly stolen from a rowdy stag do.

Folklore, released on Republic Records last July, generated three radio hits, each promoted to different groups of formats: Lead pop/adult single Cardigan hit No. 8 on Adult Pop Airplay, No. 12 on Adult Contemporary and No. 17 on Pop Airplay; Exile, featuring Bon Iver, rose to No. 9 on Adult Alternative Airplay; and Betty reached No. 32 on Country Airplay.
