Ambucs to host blood screening May 1 The Ambucs Blood Screening Program will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. May 1 at the Blair County Convention Center, Altoona. Register today and get a 36-test blood screening for $55. Optional tests are available for an additional cost. A 12-hour fast is required for the testing. Masks and social distancing are requested. Proceeds from the blood screening event will benefit Ambucs to further support local programs and services in the community.
