Body found in search for missing Didcot teenager Joseph Harrow

A BODY has been found in the search for missing teenager Joseph Harrow.  The 19-year-old was reported missing on Sunday evening by his family after he was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning. This evening, Thames Valley Police officers have said a body of a man was found located in Didcot town near to Cow Lane.  Superintendent Lis Knight, LPA Commander for South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse, said: “Enquiries have been ongoing for Joseph since he was reported missing, and very sadly, we have located a body this evening. “Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we believe this to be Joseph, and his family have been made aware and are being supported by officers.

Warning of third Covid wave in summer as lockdown rules relax

Covid cases recorded in Dorset latest NEARLY 11 million people in the UK have received their second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine in the wake of a stark warning from the Government about a third wave in the summer. The UK is likely to see a summer surge in cases as lockdown is relaxed, Professor Adam Finn, of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation said. According to the Government’s website, as of 4pm on Wednesday, there were 18 new cases recorded in the county – a decrease of five from the number of cases from the day prior. The rate of infection in Oxfordshire now stands at 4,863 cases per 100,000 people, lower than the England average of 6,824.
