South Australia to close border to Sydney20/12/2020|2min
South Australia Premier Steven Marshall says anyone coming into the state from the greater Sydney area will need to undergo 14 days of “suitable quarantine” but has announced a hard border with the Northern Beaches.
This comes as New South Wales recorded 30 new cases, with 28 linked to the Northern Beaches cluster.
People entering South Australia from greater Sydney will get tested upon arrival and on days five and 12.
There is a hard border arrangement with anyone that has been on the Northern Beaches where the outbreak started.
The restrictions come in at midnight on Sunday.
