Pauline passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at South Tipperary General Hospital. Pauline’s funeral cortége will leave her home on Wednesday morning at 11.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Queen, New Inn for a family Funeral Mass at 12 noon, after which she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

A protest has been organised to take place outside University Hospital Waterford this afternoon over maternity restrictions.
The local hospital is one of just five maternity units in the country that is not fully compliant with HSE guidelines on easing restrictions for partners.
Four of the five hospitals impacted are in the South East, UHW, St Luke’s in Kilkenny, Wexford General and South Tipperary General Hospital.
The HSE’s Chief Clinical Officer has asked that they be allowed to visit for at least 30 minutes a day.

The worst-hit hospitals are University Hospital Limerick, Letterkenny University Hospital in Donegal, Cork University Hospital, the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar and South Tipperary General Hospital.
The union warned that staff being redeployed to administer Covid-19 vaccines is causing day services to close or be scaled back, putting extra pressure on emergency departments.
Frontline staff have also voiced concern that infection control and social distancing is compromised when patients are on trolleys in corridors.
