MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Several parents say theyâre fed up with waiting for their kidâs Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) cards.
The money meant to help feed their kids during the school year was supposed to be issued last week but never showed up.
Now those families want to know whatâs the hold up with receiving the benefits.
Heather Croy is one of those parents in Horry County who are demanding answers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina State leaders have announced they will be hosting a virtual career fair for veterans on May 4.
South Carolina Department of Administration Executive Director Marcia Adams and South Carolina Department of Veteransâ Affairs Secretary William Grimsley joined Governor Henry McMaster Monday to make the announcement.
The virtual career fair has been designed to give veterans the chance to explore opportunities with over 30 state agencies and higher education institutions.
âSouth Carolina is a state with a proud military tradition,â Gov. McMaster said. âWe value our men and women who have served, and we want them to know that they can continue that great tradition of service with a career in state government. I applaud Executive Director Adams and Secretary Grimsley for their agenciesâ
Nine years ago, just before my eighth birthday, I was placed in foster care. My birth mother was extremely ill; I did not expect to go home to her, and had no idea if I would ever see her again. There was a shortage of foster families in my rural county, and none who wanted a boy my age. After six months of living in a residential facility, I was placed with a loving family who adopted me, and they are the most important thing in my life.
