Suspended Dillon mayor says charges against him are part of political witch-hunt UP NEXT Suspended Dillon Mayor Corey Jackson said child sex charges against him are part of a political witch-hunt and he plans to vigorously fight them. Corey Jackson was charged with 11 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor back in May 2019. He was also arrested two days after his initial arrest on a traffic violation charge. Police said Jackson was involved in a minor car crash, where police found he was driving without a license. © Provided by WPDE Myrtle Beach/Florence Evidence presented at his initial bond hearing in May 2019 reportedly showed Jackson was soliciting pictures from boys on Snapchat, with a total of nine alleged victims, the youngest of whom is 15. The prosecution said Jackson was offering money, up to $1,000, for photos of the boys penises.
