DUIs alleged
BOGGS TOWNSHIP State police at Rockview investigated two cases of driving under the influence that took place along South Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township, Centre County around 11 a.m. on Jan. 12.
According to police, Aaron Thomas, 28, of Mill Hall was pulled over in his 1995 Ford pickup truck. He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. Charges are pending a toxicology report.
Later, a 32-year-old Lock Haven man came to move Thomas’ truck. He was having trouble with the standard transmission and the trooper went to assist. It was discovered that the man was also under the influence of drugs with a DUI-related suspended license. He was also arrested for DUI.
of parts stolen
LOGANTON Schrack’s Valley Services Inc. in Loganton was the victim of a $7,500 theft, state police at Lamar said.
Fifty aluminum rims were stolen from the business between Dec. 20, 2020 and Jan. 2. It’s believed they may have been or will be scrapped, police said.

DUI charge
LOGANTON A 62-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Interstate 80 East near mile marker 193, Greene Township, state police at Lamar said.
The stop occurred on Jan. 7 at 8:01 a.m. Charges will be filed through district court, police said.
