A Worcester Park paedophile has been jailed for attempting to meet a minor for sex, after being caught in a police sting in Ashtead. Millan Rajasooriar, 34, of Hampton Road, pleaded guilty at Guildford Crown Court on October 26 to one count of attempting sexual communication with a child and one count of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence. He was sentenced to two-and-a-half years’ imprisonment at a hearing today (December 4). On October 28 last year, Rajasooriar had travelled to Ashtead Train Station, where he expected to meet and have sex with a 13-year-old child, but was instead met by officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit and arrested.
