Some Igbo professionals has urged advocates of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) to follow laid down procedures in their establishment.
The Igbo professionals stated this in reaction to reported attack on soldiers and police operatives in Orlu, Imo State, by persons operating in the name of ESN.
The professionals under aegis of Coalition of South East Professionals Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND) condenmed the attack and said the development must not be allowed to go unchecked.
CSEPNND in a statement signed by the National President, Prof. Madumere Chika said that no sovereign nation will allow armed security groups to operate without necessary approvals and legal backing.

Some Igbo professionals have condemned the reported attack on soldiers and police operatives in Orlu, Imo State, by persons operating in the name of Eastern Security Network (ESN), saying the development must not be allowed to go unchecked. It’s a known fact that a sovereign nation will allow armed security groups to operate without necessary approvals and legal backing.
While describing the so-called Eastern Security Network as an illegal contraption, the group called on prominent Igbo sons and daughters to rise against the outfit, which was established by the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

THE Coalition of South-East Professionals Network in Nigeria and Diaspora, CSEPNND, has picked holes in the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB’s opposition to Igbo presidency, saying that the group is being sponsored to destabilise the South-East geo-political zone.
The IPOB had on Sunday given reasosn for its refusal to support Nigerian president of Igbo extraction. It claimed that “all the people being prepared for the position are stooges and Caliphate-bred traitors who would be used against the interest of Ndigbo, Biafrans and the Biafra agitating groups.
