Minor premiers Melbourne United will âcomfortablyâ win this yearâs NBL championship, according to three-time NBL champion and two-time grand final MVP Chris Anstey.
Anstey knows plenty about what success looks like in the postseason, and thatâs why he canât see anyone toppling Unitedâs quality and star power in the race for the trophy.
âUnited will be too good with their depth of talent,â Anstey said.
âI mean, they are bringing (guard) Scotty Hopson off the bench, who is a top two or three player in any of the teams remaining, and United have the luxury of bringing him off the bench.
Going into the 2021 off-season, there are multiple head coach vacancies and, even though basketball is still being played - the playoffs set to tip off shortly - interviews are already underway.
