SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) - Some Worth County High students are jumpstarting their careers by learning advanced technical skills while they are still in high school, in the h Dual Enrollment with Southern Regional Tech.
In the Nurse Aide lab at Worth Co. High, Dual Enrollment student Ny’Keycia Hamilton practices checking a patient’s blood pressure, just one of many skills she has learned while taking part in the Nurse Aid program. Though only a junior in a high school, she is days away from completing Southern Regional Technical College’s (SRTC) Nurse Aide program.

MOULTRIE, Ga. â The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Moultrie-Colquitt County Development Authority have announced plans to implement âProject Purposeâ at Colquitt County High School.
The initiative is designed to work with soon-to-be high school graduates who may or may not have post graduation plans, according to Development Authority President Barbara Grogan. The event will be made up of âExploration Dayâ April 30, where students can meet with local businesses.
âStudents and businesses should be prepared to give real interviews and converse with each other,â Grogan said Thursday. âBusinesses know what to expect; these are kids looking to get into the workforce.â
