SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Authorities today sought the public’s help to identify the man who sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in the Bay Terraces neighborhood.
The girl was in the 300 block of South Meadowbrook Drive, near Brookhaven Road, at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday when the man sexually assaulted her, according to San Diego Police Department Lt. Adam Sharki.
The girl escaped from the man and reported the assault to an adult, who then called police.
The man was wearing a royal blue shirt and dark pants at the time of the assault. He also had a damaged or impaired left eye and appeared to be dirty, Sharki said.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. last Wednesday, April 28, on South Meadowbrook Drive near Brookhaven Road, between Skyline Drive and Paradise Valley Road, according to San Diego police Lt. Adam Sharki. The location is in an area where the Skyline and Bay Terraces neighborhoods meet.
After the man assaulted the girl, she “escaped and immediately reported the attack to an adult,” who in turn reported it to San Diego police, Sharki said in a news release.
