An elderly man needed medical treatment after being pulled from the River Avon in Bristol.
After the trial ended, Lin and Adrian Holford issued a statement saying: We wish to convey our profound gratitude to so many wonderful people who selflessly came to our aid and continue, expertly and thoughtfully, to support our recovery. Staff from the Wiltshire Crime & Communications Centre, officers and staff from Wiltshire Police, Hampshire & Dorset Air Ambulance, South Western Ambulance Service, Southampton General, Great Western and John Radcliffe Hospitals, Great Bedwyn Surgery and Victim Support. And also to our family, friends and local community whose special love and support continue to carry us through. We would also like to recognise and applaud the care which private, public and charitable mental health services provide to help all those with mental health difficulties.
Woman airlifted to hospital after falling off horse near Bath Racecourse

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling from her horse near Bath Racecourse.
Emergency crews raced to a footpath between North Stoke and Lansdown on Saturday morning where the incident happened.
The woman was rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: We were called on Saturday at 9.13am about an incident on a public footpath between North Stoke and Lansdown near Bath. The caller reported to us that someone had fallen from a horse. We treated a female patient and conveyed her to hospital by air ambulance with a serious leg injury.”
