One woman in life threatening condition after M4 crash near Chippenham A woman has been taken to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition after a serious crash on the M4 yesterday (June 2). The crash took place at 9.33amand both lanes of the M3, between Junction 18 and the Leigh Delamere services, were closed for hours. A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 between Junction 18 and the Leigh Delamere services involving a single vehicle. The vehicle left the carriageway and came to rest on its roof. Fire crews used cutting equipment to release a female casualty who has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
