It’s currently contacting thousands of patients to reschedule appointments that’ve had to be cancelled. All outpatient and endoscopy services, along with the majority of radiology services such as MRIs, CT scans and x-rays, and elective inpatient and day case procedures are affected at University Hospital Waterford. Meanwhile, the health service is refusing to comment on the ransom figure being demanded for the release of its data. In a statement issued to WLR, the South-South West Hospital Group said:
