After administering 39,000 shots, York County vaccine center closes
While the Sanford site is closed, York County Emergency Management Agency Director Art Cleaves said the county has a standby team ready if there is a demand for vaccines at businesses, schools or other venues.

SANFORD After administering an estimated 39,000 COVID-19 vaccination shots since its official opening March 2, the York County mass vaccine clinic in Sanford has closed its doors but those at the helm of the operation say there is a vaccination team on standby should there be demand.

York County vaccine clinic to close June 29
Appointments and walk-in visits remain available 5-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays until then, when the focus shifts to physicians offices and walk in clinics.

SANFORD Southern Maine Health Care and York County Emergency Management Agency will officially close the Sanford Vaccine Clinic at the Center for Shopping on June 29.
