Stock image A lorry was involved in a three-vehicle crash on the M3 that closed two lanes this lunchtime. The articulated lorry was in a collision with a Peugeot and a Toyota between junctions 8 and 7 just after 1pm today (Tuesday), police have confirmed. A woman received minor injuries, but was treated by paramedics at the scene. The two closed lanes have since reopened, according to traffic service ROMANSE, although delays remain. Traffic maps also show heavy traffic on the A30 close to Junction 7 as motorists divert around the crash site. At its worst, there were delays of up to 35 minutes on the M3, which backed up past Junction 8 (A303/Popham).

The South Central Ambulance Service responded to a 999 call it received around 8.20pm last night (Monday May 10), reporting a motorcyclist had come off their bike at high speed at a roundabout on Hennef Way, Banbury.
The South Central Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance to the incident.

Just before 4pm on Monday, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to a crash on Leigh Road, Eastleigh. The road had been partially blocked in both directions between Passfield Avenue and Brookwood Avenue. Fire crews from Eastleigh and Redbridge attended the incident and police were also on the scene. A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said that two adults in one of the cars involved were taken to University Hospital Southampton with minor injuries.
A Hampshire paramedic who lost his friend last year is planning to cycle around North Hampshire’s ambulance stations in his memory. Daniel Hiscock will be riding the 89 mile round trip in memory of Christopher Ealden, a fellow paramedic who sadly took his own life last year. Daniel said that he wanted to do something in his memory to bring support to fellow frontline workers. “I thought it would be a big achievement to do a big bike ride going to and visiting all the ambulance stations in North Hampshire,” he said. “I can achieve something for charity while also pushing myself.”

Police were called to Tesco Express in Nutshalling Close, Calmore
A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a fight broke out at a Tesco store near Southampton. A Tesco Express was taped off following reports of an assault off last night. Police and paramedics descended on the store in Nutshalling Close, Calmore on Tuesday. According to a witness, the argument was sparked by a disagreement over a disabled parking bay. The store was cordoned off with police officers carrying out enquiries in the area until at least 7.30pm. A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said: We received a 999 call at 5.09pm yesterday with the caller reporting a person had been assaulted outside the Tesco Express on Nutshalling Close in Calmore. We sent an ambulance to the incident and one adult male was taken to University Hospital Southampton for further treatmen
