City of Utica: Route 5S between Broad Street and Cornelia Street. There will be lane closures along Route 5S/Oriskany Street eastbound and westbound between Cornelia and Broad Street due to signal work and punch list work throughout the project. These closures will be from 9am to 3pm.
City of Utica, Town of New Hartford: Route 5/12 between Wilbur Road and Lomond Place. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with detours in place overnight from 10 p.m.to 6 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday due to steel girder placement for the new Route 8 bridge.

Another victim in the crash was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Two people and one dog were killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles in east Columbus Thursday night.
The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at I-270.
According to Columbus police, two men in an SUV were fighting over the steering wheel when their vehicle flipped and flew over the median into a Fed Ex truck.
The driver of the Fed Ex truck and passenger in the SUV died in the crash. The dog was riding in the SUV and was also killed.
