ALBANY Community Bank N.A. recently announced three promotions at its new Business Banking Center, located at 19 Corporate Woods in Albany. Gloria Pickering has been promoted to commercial banking officer, Ken Countermine has been promoted to SVP, commercial banking group manager and Eric Magnano has been promoted to vice president & commercial banking officer.
In her new role, Pickering will be responsible for serving the Fulton-Montgomery County market, performing a variety of duties to meet the commercial service needs of business customers which will include lending. She will be responsible for developing new business relationships with prospective customers and maintaining continuous business relationships with current customers. Pickering has more than 23 years of banking experience and most recently served as commercial administrative assistant in the capital region. The Great Solent Birdwatch aimed to connect communities with their coastline through birdwatching. A total of 58 different species of birds were among more than 9,500 spotted, including a kingfisher and short-eared owl. As well as the Island, the initiative, organised by Bird Aware Solent, featured people in Hill Head near Fareham, Keyhaven in the New Forest and Farlington Marshes in Portsmouth.
