Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) invite applications from eligible boys and girls for admission to first year undergraduate courses of BA/B.Com/BBA/B.Sc degree courses (English).
Eligibility
Candidates appearing for Intermediate second year exams in 2021-22 and those who have passed out Intermediate or its equivalent exam in the year 2021 (with a minimum of 40% marks) are eligible to apply for TGUGCET-2021 - Telangana Gurukulam Under Graduate Common Entrance Test.
Interested students can visit websites: www.tswreis.in and www.tgtwgurukulam. telangana.gov.in for prospectus and online application. Online applications can be submitted from February 5.
Harish Rao fumes at TSWREIS teachers for lack of preparedness

Sangareddy: Telangana’s finance minister T Harish Rao on Sunday fumed on the teachers of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) for their lack of preparedness in reopening schools. In Telangana, regular classes for students of classes 9 and 10 resumed on Monday.
The finance minister made a surprise visit to the society’s residential school in Andole, Sangareddy and was shocked to note that the school was unclean and lacked in preparedness for students to come back.
TSWREIS extends last date for intermediate admissions

Hyderabad: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) on Thursday has extended the last date for submission of online applications for admissions into first year intermediate streams in 33 Centres of Excellence for the academic year 2021-2022 up to January 10.
Online applications are invited from boys and girls of SC, ST, BC, HC, Converted Christian and OCs, appearing for the Class X public examinations, for admissions into intermediate first year in MPC, BiPC, MEC and CEC streams, the TSWREIS said in a press release.
Apart from regular academics, students in these CoEs will be coached for IIT, NIT, NEET, CLAT, and CMA entrance examinations, it said.

More than 50,000 students from residential welfare, government and private educational institutions participated in different competitions like spell bee, essay writing, dance, debate, quiz, mono action, book review, hand writing, story telling, and singing, as part of ‘Eurekha 2020’ on Sunday.
Students from classes six to 12 from these institutions took part in the events held across 28 venues in Telangana in the presence of thousands of parents and community members.
