Hyderabad: The stage is all set to increase vaccination sites in the city from today. There would be different vaccination centres for Covishield and Covaxin by next week. Telangana had provided Covishield vaccine on Day 1 and may start provision of Covaxin in the next few days.
Telangana had received both vaccines last week. According to officials, with the consent form now made available for Covaxin, its roll-out will start soon.

Hyderabad, Jan 16 : After leading the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic for nearly a year, healthcare workers were once again on the front this time to take vaccine and allay apprehension about its safety and efficacy.
Healthcare workers of public health facilities in Telangana took the first shot on Saturday not just to get protection for themselves but also to send out a message to their colleagues and other frontline workers.
Despite doubts being expressed over the safety of vaccine and apprehensions over the adverse reactions it may trigger, they came forward to take the first shot.

Hyderabad: Surveillance officials of the health department have found that in 15 cases, those who have returned from United Kingdom but tested negative for the Coronavirus went out for social gatherings. The protocol is that those who have returned and tested negative must quarantine themselves at home for seven days.
