Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 29 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, as a new year s gift, has decided to give salary hike to all the government employees, increase the age of superannuation and to recruit employees in the public departments.
The Chief Minister on Tuesday announced that the salary hike would benefit government employees, grant-in aid employees, work charged employees, daily wages employees, fulltime contingent employees, part time contingent employees, home guards, Anganwadi workers, contract employees, out sourcing employees, Asha workers, vidya volunteers, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) employees, people receiving the honorariums and pensioners.

He also said the salaries of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will also be increased and the state government will bear the financial burden arising from the salary hike if needed.

He announced that the salary hike would benefit government employees, Grant-in Aid employees, work charged employees, daily wages employees, both full time and part time contingent employees, Home Guards, Anganwadi workers, contract employees, outsourcing employees, Asha workers, vidya volunteers, SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) employees, people receiving the honorariums and pensioners.

From inheriting a loss of revenue from 2019’s workers strike to buses going off the roads due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and from fewer buses being procured to a steep dip in occupancy, the transport juggernaut is braving odds, even as its staff has remained on the front line fighting the pandemic.
Transporting warriors
At a time when lockdown was clamped across the State, and stringent restrictions of public movement were in place, the TSRTC was busy not only transporting frontline warriors, such as hospital staff, to their places of work, but also helping migrant workers reach railways stations so that they could board Shramik special trains.
Telangana: RTC to operate 1,800 special buses for Sankranti

Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) would run as many as 1,800 special buses during the forthcoming Sankranti festival in January 2021.
These special buses would operate in the city from January 8 to 13.
As per the report by
Times of India, the number of special buses will be increased or decreased as per demand. These special buses will be operated from main points such as MGBS, JBS, CBS, Uppal X roads and LB Nagar.
Besides, 1,200 inter-state buses would be run between Hyderabad and Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
