Insight President, CEO Ken Lamneck To Retire; Stock Plunges Insight Enterprises has engaged an executive search firm to identify potential successors from both internal and external candidates following Ken Lamneck’s 12-year run as CEO of the solution provider giant. By Michael Novinson May 06, 2021, 11:21 AM EDT Longtime Insight Enterprises leader Ken Lamneck plans to retire at the end of 2021 after quadrupling sales and increasing the channel giant’s stock price eight-fold. The Tempe, Ariz.-based company, No. 15 on the 2020 CRN Solution Provider 500, said it has engaged an executive search firm to identify potential successors to Lamneck from both internal and external candidates. Lamneck, 66, will continue to serve as Insight’s president and CEO until a successor has been named, and will then transition into an advisory role for the remainder of the calendar year.

Bug keeps Mercedes, Venturi teams out of qualifying race Share Copy Swiss Formula E driver Edoardo Mortara ended up in hospital after a software error left him driving into a safety wall at the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday. In a statement issued via Twitter, the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team blamed the code governing the race car s braking system. The braking system on Formula E cars is designed so that if the front brakes fail, the rear brake system is activated as a fail-safe, the Mercedes-EQ Team said. In this instance, an incorrect software parameter that meant the rear brake system didn t activate as intended and the fail-safe did not kick in.
