UNIVERSITIES have come under much scrutiny during the global pandemic, particularly where public purse strings have had to be tightened.
Funding for higher education, as well as broader discussions on the role and reimagining of universities, is nothing new, but the pandemic has added impetus and urgency.

With no conditions attached, the Government announced a six-month bank loan moratorium for individuals from the B40 group, M40 and T20 as well as micro entrepreneurs.
“There will be no conditions such as loss of income, no checks to be made on whether or not a person had lost their jobs, no documentations to be submitted to apply,” Muhyiddin said.
He informed that the only thing needed to activate the loan moratorium was to apply and it will be approved automatically.
