Mayor Muriel Bowser announced last week that the district would fully reopen without and capacity limits on June 11. Restrictions on public and commercial activity including capacity limits, types of activities and time restrictions will be lifted on Friday.

Smithsonian Reopening Plans

(DC)- Smithsonian will continue to reopen some of their facilities later this week. On Friday, the National Zoo, National Museum of the American Indian, well the National Museum of American History will each welcome the public back. The Zoo will be open everyday from 8 o'clock until 4 p.m. while the two museums will have various days and times they are open. Face masks will be required, and you will need to get a timed-entry pass to enter.
