While the big news coming out of Congress is the long awaited COVID-19 Stimulus Bill finally passing, there’s another piece of big news coming from DC–we are

Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who co-sponsored the bipartisan legislation to create the National Museum of the American Latino with Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.
“Latinos have contributed significantly to the success of the United States while overcoming systemic discrimination, said Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Now, our stories will have a new home with a Latino Museum on the National Mall.

WASHINGTON: A $25 million largesse to Pakistan for promoting democracy and gender studies, among other foreign aid items tucked into a 5000-page spending bill that also contains the $900 billion Covid-19 stimulus package, has triggered outrage among Americans seething at what they see as Congressional indifference to their suffering from the pandemic.
