The Ansan city government said on Wednesday it has reported to Korea s heritage authority about a dinosaur fossil discovered on an island under the city s jurisdiction a month ago.
The Koreaceratops claw was presumably from 120 million years ago and was found at Tando Harbor in Daebu Island by a person who visited there. The person reported the finding to the city authorities on Feb. 15, and the Cultural Heritage Administration s natural heritage division responded to the discovery.

Seoul, March 10 : A fossil assumed to be a toe bone of a dinosaur dating back to 120 million years has been discovered on a western island, the city government of Ansan said on Wednesday.
The city government of Ansan, southwest of Seoul, said the 4.5-centimetre-long fossil was found by a citizen on Daebu Island last month, Yonhap news agency reported.
