The family of a late Minister for Health, Major Rtd Courage Emmanuel Kobla Quashigah has donated assorted items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the less privileged at the Christ Faith Foster Home at Adentan as part of activities marking his 11th anniversary.
Led by the widow Dr. Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah who is also the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, her sons, daughters and other relatives – the Quashigah’s family donated bags of 25kg rice, crates of egg, cartons of milk, gallons of cooking oil (25 litters), boxes of biscuits, pieces of toilet role, boxes of kalyppo, crates of soft drinks, packs of bottle water, bags of sachet water, face masks, toffies and tissue papers among others.

The names of 13 new key appointees at the Presidency in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s second term have been released.
All the appointees are to undertake their duties in acting capacities, subject to consultation with the yet-to-be constituted Council of State.
The list includes new entrant Dr Isaac Owusu Mensah as Director of Research who is replacing Victor Newman who recently passed on.
Emmanuel Adumua-Bossman
Other new entrants are Emmanuel Adumua-Bossman and Fawaz Aliu as the two new Deputy Chiefs Of Staff to replace Francis Asenso Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor who are now Members of Parliament.
Adumua-Bossman worked as the Director of the Impact Assessment Unit in the Office of the President from 2018 to 2020 and was also the Director for Planning and Implementation with the National Security unit from 2017 to 2018.
Social Commentator, Samuel Allotey Jacobs has recommended the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku to President Akufo-Addo for consideration in his second term.
According to him, the affable and hardworking National Organiser, who is affectionately called Capo , will not only be helpful in the party but also in the Akufo-Addo government.
Mr. Allotey on his social media page stated; “
Genuine Advocacy Mr. President you will need Sammi Awuku on your cabinet to be a bridge between the party and government.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Sammi Awuku has already declared his intention not to contest the National Organiser position in the next election.
