9 Provinces Hit by Attacks, Violent Crimes in 2 Days
At least nine provinces in Afghanistan have witnessed targeted attacks, explosions and violent criminal acts in the past 48 hours, according to the statistics received by TOLOnews.
The numbers show that at least 14 people were killed and 33 more wounded as a result of these attacks and acts of violence.
Military analysts believe that the lack of coordination between the security agencies has been the key factor behind a dramatic surge in the number of targeted killings.
But the Afghan Ministry of Interior has said that the security institutions are working hard to improve the situation.

Wilson, the US Charge d’Affaires in Kabul, has steadfastly condemned a series of assassinations in the capital and other cities of prominent Afghans including journalists, activists, and politicians in recent months.
NDS Facility Attacked in Kandahar, Attackers Killed: Official
An establishment belonged to the National Directorate of Security (NDS) was attacked by a group of armed men on Saturday morning, an attack that ended shortly after it started, security officials said.
The attack happened on an NDS facility in Daman district in the southern province of Kandahar, said Farid Mashal, the security officer of Kandahar Police Headquarters.
He said the attack started with a car bomb explosion, followed by gunfight by three attackers who were killed half an hour after fighting with security forces.
Mashal said the attack left no casualties to the security forces. However, a source said that two people were wounded in the attack.
