He appeals to youth to join politics
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said political dynasties were the biggest enemies of democracy, and appealed to the youth to join politics.
While addressing the valedictory session of the second National Youth Parliament Festival via videoconferencing, he said: “Today, days of winning election by the crutches of a surname are over. Still this malaise of dynastic politics is far from over…Political dynasty promotes self and family instead of pushing nation first. This is a major cause of social corruption in India.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said youngsters were at the core of Prime Minister Narendra Modi s aspirations of New India and he was working with full commitment to make Swami Vivekananda s dream come true, an official statement said here. Participating in the National Youth Parliament Festival, 2021 on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda through virtual medium, Adityanath said youngsters should be on the front line and play their roles effectively. He congratulated Mudita Mishra from the state who received first prize at the National Youth Parliament Festival. The state government is committed to the bright future of the youth, the CM added.

The Supreme Court of India on Tuesday stayed the implementation of three farms laws until further orders . The apex court said that it would form a committee to solve the ongoing deadlock between the protesting farmers and the central government. We are forming a committee so that we have a clearer picture. We don t want to hear arguments that farmers will not go to the committee. We are looking to solve the problem, the Chief Justice of India said on Tuesday.

New Delhi [India], January 12 (ANI): The youth who took part in the National Youth Parliament Festival organised at the Central Hall of Parliament here said they were eager to contribute to the country s development and also play a role in fostering growth.
Mudita Mishra from Uttar Pradesh, who stood first in the festival, said she has been inspired by the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She said the Prime Minister has spoken of the country completing 100 years of its Independence in 1947 and the need for the youth to make their contribution for the country s rapid development.
