HELP NEEDED: Lancaster Events Center needs strong volunteers to continue storm cleanup
High winds left a trail of destruction just days before the National High School Finals Rodeo

Winds caused major damage to stalls on the ground, blowing over hundreds of stalls. The Fairgrounds crew is still two days behind on preparation for the National High School Finals Rodeo.
They need at least 20 strong volunteers to help the guidance stall experts. 600 stalls have been recovered from the storms and 800 more still need to be assembled.
“The initial community response to helping the LEC Fairgrounds recover from high winds on Friday night affecting many of the over 2,000 outdoor horse stalls for the 1,623 High School youth competitors has been heart-warming as has been the recent response to volunteering throughout the event.” According to Amy Dickerson, Lancaster Event Center Fairgrounds Managing Director,

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) Of all the multi-million dollar facilities at Cam-plex, ones costing about $600 have generated the most interest recently.
Cam-plex officials have started the mammoth task of making 55,000 people from 100 countries feel at home for two weeks in 2024 when Gillette hosts the International Pathfinders Camporee.
