Legal Advice for Parents with Kids in That Awkward Stage of Semi-Adulthood

Getty Images My son was so excited to begin his freshman year at college in Savannah in autumn 2019. But COVID-19 forced the school to close just after its spring break, and he’ll be attending classes over Zoom through this summer. We have really enjoyed having him home, but he will finally be able to return to campus this coming fall term for his junior year. He became a legal adult even before he graduated high school. Since turning 18, he has enjoyed all the legal rights of an adult (save buying liquor) and all the legal liabilities and responsibilities, but he is still in that in-between period of semi-adulthood. NJ attorneys expand Medicaid planning, elder law services

NJ attorneys expand Medicaid planning, elder law services From Staff Reports MATAWAN – Joseph P. Costa and David B. Nathan announced a merger of their respective practices to expand elder law services in Central Jersey. The scope of their practice includes Medicaid planning and applications, wills and trusts, estate planning and administration, guardianships and veterans benefits. With their primary office located in Matawan, the partners bring a fresh, unique approach to the field of elder law, which they believe is more important than ever as the population ages and the cost of care continues to rise. “Planning in times of uncertainty can be complicated and overwhelming for seniors and their families. Our job is to simplify the process by asking the right questions and providing straightforward advice without all the fluff or legal jargon. Effective communication and accurate information are the keys to understanding your options and rights.” Costa said in a statement.
