President-elect Joe Biden is carrying his experiences in Syracuse with him to the White House.
Biden will be the first Syracuse University alumnus to be president of the United States when he takes office on Wednesday. During an emotional final speech in Delaware before his inauguration, he gave a shout-out to his alma mater.
President-elect Joseph R. Biden said Tuesday that he'll always be a son of Delaware as he bid his home state a final goodbye before he's sworn in as president Wednesday.

In Biden's first event in Washington he took part in an evening ceremony near the Lincoln Memorial to honor the 400,000 American lives lost to COVID-19.
