Three tables have been set up in the Montana State Capitol rotunda, with 12 place settings – each one representing a loved one lost to violent crime or someone living through the aftermath of a crime.

Fulton County Emergency Services Director Steven Santa Maria recently told the Board of Supervisors’ Public Safety Committee that he stands to get his hands on dozens of boxes of nitrile gloves important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also is assisting Montgomery County with the effort.
Santa Maria explained that nitrile gloves are part of the Personal Protective Equipment ensemble required for COVID responses.
He said they are being used by emergency management and emergency medical system workers at COVID vaccination clinics.
He said nitrile gloves are also used by law enforcement, including corrections; and by fire and EMS personnel.
At an event to honor the victims of serious crimes, John Fetty stood inside the Anne Arundel County Circuit Courthouse with his hands clasped as he listened to how his childhood was wracked with loss and hardship.
