SO FAR, THEY’VE RAISED MORE THAN $2000 FOR THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR MENTAL ILLNESS. THREE FRIENDS ARE BRAVING MORE THAN 100 MILES BY FOOT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR MENTAL HEALTH. IT FEELS REALLY COOL TO BRING ATTENTION TO SUCH A CRUCIAL ISSUE FROM WHERE I’M FROM THEY STARTED AN INITIATIVE CALLED CONCEPT PROJECT, TO SHINE A LIGHT ON SOCIAL ISSUES. WE CAUGHT UP WITH THEM ON THEIR TRACK FR THE BASE OF MOUNT WASHINGTON TO HAMPTON BEACH. THIS REPRESENTS THE MENTAL HEALTH STRUGGLES WE ALL GO THROUGH. ON THURSDAY, THEY SET OUT AMID BIG SNOWSTORM. THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED. IT WAS A BLESSING AND A CURSE. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN.

Washington to Hampton Beach. Their goal is to raise awareness of the impact the great outdoors has on mental wellness. The trio is raising funds for the organization National Alliance for Mental Illness, having raised $2,000 already. The organization provides support, education and advocacy to those affected by mental illness and suicide.Sign up for our Newsletters College students Garret Roberts, Emmie Daswani and Arian Delli Colli started the initiative called Concept Project to shine a light on social issues.

Dec 17, 2020 WARREN Elizabeth I. “Betty” Kloss, 91, of Warren, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at 4:25 a.m., at her home, with Hospice Care and her loving family by her side. She was born New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 1928, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of the late George and Frances Huff Bennington. During her childhood, she fondly remembers her summers spent in Mercer, Pa., on her father’s family farm. Elizabeth graduated from Sharon High School, Class of 1946. As a young woman and mother, she instilled in her children a desire to achieve, making plans and following through. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon, and her children’s PTA. After her children were in school, Elizabeth became a licensed cosmetologist and owned and operated several businesses.
