The textile sector is at a standstill in this pandemic period. Businesses have repeatedly called for support from the authorities to meet this challenge. The representatives of the National Confederation for Women Entrepreneurship (CONAF) – CONAF president Cristina Chiriac, together with Sorina Tulan, president of CONAF Satu Mare branch and Corina Por, vice president of CONAF Satu Mare branch, together with deputy Adrian Cozma, had a meeting at Victoria Palace with Prime Minister Florin Citu, to discuss the problems that employers of the textile industry face since the onset of the pandemic and the solutions that can save this industry.

The Pact for Labour project (PPM) continues in a form designed to support the implementation of labour market stimulus measures identified during the two years of business debates. In this context, the Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI BV), together with the National Confederation for Women Entrepreneurship (CONAF), launched the project “Performance through practical education”, a project co-financed by the Human Capital Operational Program (POCU), with a value of 4.65 million RON.
The general objective of the project is to increase the opportunities for insertion on the labour market and the relevance of practical training for 245 students and master students through an integrated program of guidance, career counselling and internships organized in companies in economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to CNS and smart specialization fields according to SNCDI.
The National Confederation for Women Entrepreneurship (CONAF) announces that Radu Magdin has joined the organization, in honorary form, as ambassador of CONAF, to intensify relations with external partners and identify new opportunities for international collaboration. “Educated For Life” is a national project initiated by the National Association of Entrepreneurs (ANAA), together with the Association for the Development of Local Entrepreneurship (ADAA) and the National Confederation for Women Entrepreneurship (CONAF) and is intended to support education for economic development.
The project addresses important issues of Romanian society in 2021 such as economic recovery and the importance of education in the new economy, correlating the labor market with real economic needs – the need to educate today’s young people for tomorrow’s jobs, digitalization, new generations of consumers of financial services , vocational education and the importance of introducing it as a compulsory subject in high schools and last but not least, professional skills for the new generations of employees.
