BARNEGAT, NJ For the second year in a row, the Barnegat Township School District has been recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
In its 22nd year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. We are honored and so proud to receive this designation again, said Superintendent Dr. Brian Latwis. Education is much more than just academics, and we really work to give students the opportunity to explore and enjoy the arts. We have such a robust music program here and I m so thankful for our incredible teachers, students, and administrators for keeping the program thriving despite some of the obstacle

CURWENSVILLE Curwensville Area School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
Now in its 22nd year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
“It is an honor for Curwensville Area School District to receive this award. The students, staff, school administrators and community have long held a belief that music participation enhances the education of our children. As a school community, we are committed to that ideal,” said Ron Matchock, district superintendent.

For the third year in a row, the Port Clinton School District has received a Best Communities for Music Education Award from the National Association of Music Merchants. Port Clinton has been recognized for being among the “Best Communities” in the nation for music education.
According to the NAMM Foundation, “The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.”

As a person who loves everything about music, I think this is awesome! For the third consecutive year, The Victoria Independent School District has received the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
How did V.I.S.D receive this designation? Victoria ISD answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music programs, and community music-making programs. Responses were then reviewed by The Music Research Institute at the University of Kansas.
