ABUJA- THE Department of State Service,DSS, has invited the National President of Nigeria Youth Union,NYU, Comrade Chinonso Obasi,for questioning over the union’s suspended rally at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport,Abuja.
The protest was planned by the organisation to disrupt official activities at the airport.
Obasi was summoned alongside other youth leaders involved in the planned act.
It was gathered that the planned action was necessitated by inability of relevant authorities, particularly the leadership of Nigerian Governors’ Forum,NGF,and Association of Local Government of Nigeria,ALGON,to their demand for a better and efficient PHCs in Nigeria.

The Meeting between Nigerian Youth Union (NYU), National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), National Association of Colleges of Education Students (NACES), Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), National Association of University Students (NAUS), National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone A, B, C took in perspectives the state of Nigerian health Sector with a specific emphasis on ensuring basic Healthcare accessibility to the masses at the grassroots.
“It has been the subject of our scrupulous observation that Hundreds of lives are lost every day in Nigeria, not because of incurable diseases but as a result of a poorly functional healthcare system to offer medical care to citizens especially the average or poor citizens who mostly dwell in rural areas.
