Chris Krebs, the now fired Homeland Security cybersecurity expert who debunked claims of a rigged election, testified before a Senate panel on Wednesday, reiterating that the 2020 election was fair and that there was no credible evidence of widespread fraud.
Krebs, who was assigned to head Homeland Securityâs Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency by the Trump administration in 2018, was fired last month after his agency co-signed a statement defending the 2020 election process. âAs you can see this is getting to me today,â she said.
Itâs not clear what brought Wyman to tears, but her office confirmed on Monday that it has notified the Department of Homeland Security and the stateâs own counterterrorism agency, the Washington State Fusion Center, about a death threat against one of her employees.
The target was Lori Augino, who is director of elections for the Office of the Secretary of State.
The lawsuit is a last-ditched effort to overthrow the results of the election, which saw more vote cast for Biden than any other candidate in American history.
