BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) China s top legislator Li Zhanshu on Wednesday held talks with Asad Qaiser, speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, via video link.
Noting that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, Li, chairman of the National People s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, said the two sides should take this opportunity to carry out higher-level, broader and deeper cooperation.
