NA secretariat asks Khaqan to apologise in 7 days Top Story April 22, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly (NA) Secretariat on Wednesday wrote a letter to the former prime minister and PML-N parliamentarian Shahid Khaqan, asking him to tender apology to the NA Speaker Asad Qaisar within seven days for his continuous misbehaviour and disregard of the Chair. While, PPP expressed its no-confidence on NA Speaker and said he was not acting as a custodian of the House but as a worker of the PTI. Top Story April 21, 2021 ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar will write letters to the speakers/presiding officers of the world parliaments to raise the issue of blasphemy in their parliaments for bringing an end to this practice as it was hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims on the pretext of freedom of expression. Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar and former speaker and Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza met with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser at the Parliament House Tuesday.
